Saturday morning detention, 1985. Five very different students learn that stereotypes are so much less than the actual person, and that commonalities can be found where they are not expected. Directed by John Hughes, this coming-of-age classic starred Molly Ringwald, Ally Sheedy, Emilio Estevez, Anthony Michael Hall, Judd Nelson and Paul Gleason.
